SEO Responsibilities:
????????? SEO strategy and implementation.
????????? Hands-on optimization; improving site structure, page construction, content and keyword lists.
????????? Research, identify and establish partnerships with authoritative web sites for link-building.
????????? Review and expand existing marketing models for gathering leads.
?
Requirements:
????????? High level of SEO ethics is required for this position and the ability to write, edit and schedule site content, meta data, and related tags
????????? Understanding of the search engine industry, SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies. The ability to communicate these items to colleagues and management teams
????????? Working knowledge of the product development stages and process, and the technologies involved in web development
????????? Familiarity with programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies including online video, AJAX, RSS
????????? Contribute SEO recommendations and requirements to other product managers? product plans including site redesigns, product enhancements, and new site features
????????? Survey marketplace for similar approaches and SEO tactics and evaluate how Allied Schools might do things better differently or leverage successful techniques where they exist
????????? Troubleshoot and correct SEO problems
????????? Optimize Allied Schools for traditional search engines as well as for real time search, mobile search, video search, image search and more
????????? Stay on top of current search engine news, trends, SEO practices, and emerging items of interest
????????? Compile data for regular status reports, as well as analysis of specific product changes, enhancements or initiatives
????????? Evangelize SEO throughout the organization
????????? Manage reporting and communication of metrics within organization
????????? Optimize links and landing pages for conversion from search engines
????????? Define schedule, and support projects related to keyword opportunities
????????? Understand the major factors that influence natural search: indexation, content optimization, and linking; leverage understanding of SEO to build a solid plan
